I was going through some of my old graphics on a cd and I came across a few 'katamari-ish' style images. I see them all over, and I was wondering if this particular style of art has a name. It's a bit cutesy, but I adore every piece I see.

Normally I see them as inanimate objects with faces (ie toasters, fruit etc).
Despite the fact everyone is feeling the pain of rising gas prices, it seems to almost be doing just as much good for us as bad. As of late it appears more people are willing to walk, bike, or use public transportation instead. I see more and more articles about companies getting bad publicity with laziness, and end up changing their wasteful ways. There seems to be such a big focus on conserving what we have, not being wasteful, and getting a nice bit of exercise. Who knows, in the end maybe it will be far better! But...until that happens everyone will still be feeling that lightness in their pockets.

While I'm no environmental activist I'm liking the change. It's good to see everyone becoming resourceful instead of gluttonous.

Ok I couldn't resist (ha ha!) I just finished Blood+ and I loved it far more then I thought I would. I was watching some fansubs on the Wii and even my boyfriend turned around and started watching them all with me. So I think I know what I want my next layout to be..if I can rummage up some pictures that suit what I want.

The thing that has been annoying me lately are a lot of shows love having tons of episodes when it's not needed. Instead they will throw in crappy filler shows, or just drag a single story on for much longer then needed. Blood+ was a tad bit longer then needed, but because I was enjoying it so much it felt like the perfect length. So many interesting characters, interaction, and how they changed. I really am enjoying adventurous stories that focus more on character development over fancy fights.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a well animated fight scene as much as the next fan, but to enjoy them they have to be done sparingly.

And this is why I love California - you get to enjoy spring/summer days much longer then most other places.

And what better sunny weekend then to have Easter?? It's fabulous :). It'll be my 2nd Easter away from home, so it's been exactly 1 year since I moved. I miss my family all the time, but we get to see each other pretty often thankfully. For those who do celebrate Easter - hope you have a happy easter weekend!

Because I was on the move between airports from noon till about 6. And to top it all off, yup! I checked 3 bags and only two of them made it to Cali. Ok lemme explain first! Roughly about 98% of the reason I want to see it is because she was my idol while growing up. Nancy Drew books is what really got me into loving reading at an early age.
You know, you're always looking for a job when you need it. Then when you give up for a bit that's when you find good places to apply -_-

The Gamestop down here is hiring now. I'm going to give that a shot. I figure being an assistent manager at one before might help in applying for just part time down here. Even though I would much prefer a job through the school so I always have the holiday breaks to go home. .

Guest speaker

Today we had a guest speaker. She was a former L.A.P.D. detective. She worked sex crimes and homicide. It made me think a lot about where I want to go, and what I want to do when I graduate college. Sadly. .I'm still pretty clueless.

That's why I'm hoping the people from Homeland Security when they come here can maybe help give me ideas. *collapse* I'm tired of being directionless!

Three more days, three more days :D
